This tells us that houses numbered 1,3,5,7,9 and also houses 20,18,16, and 14 were in Alan Warrington Way. The road was in Enumeration District 15, and the original census microfiche reference for this road is RG12/3155, Folios 41 to 42. (All 1891 census microfiches start RG12, and all the Eccles fiches are 31.., only the last two digits changing.) In Roger Street there was just one numbered house (5), a named house (e.g., Rosemount), and a building whose name was hard to read, but seemed to be 'Black Pan' and was a pub. In Harry Road there were: several named houses; houses numbered 59 and 61; houses numbered 70, 68, 66, 64, and 62; and there was a consecutively-numbered set of houses -- 58, 57, 56, 55, 54, 53 -- shown by the dots. Descending numbers reflects the way the enumerator apparently collected them in a street.
