Street Index Help, Page 1

The Street Index lists all the Eccles streets noted in the 1891 census. Clicking a street name will take you to the map of the enumeration district that the street was in. Even the most minor areas -- "yards", "courts", "squares", "buildings", that may not have been on the original map -- have been marked explicitly. The maps are coloured to highlight the streets surveyed, important buildings, the Bridgewater Canal, and so on.
